HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER HR

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for driving a variety of Human Resources functions specific to the employee benefit plan implementation, evaluation and administration (health, life, disability), 401k administration, leave of absence, worker’s compensation.  This role is responsible for investigating, analyzing and addressing complex problems encountered in the day-to-day operations of the department.  Also, help to ensure the HR Department is in compliance with Federal/State statutes.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      Maintains all vendor, broker and consultant contacts in areas of health, COBRA, 401k, worker’s compensation
      Provides strategic input to Director of Human Resources to minimize premium increases, maintain market competitiveness
      Recommends innovative and cost saving approaches to address current and future benefit needs
      Designs policies and procedures for administration of health plans in conjunction with plan documents, and Federal and State regulations.
      Develops and maintains processes to analyze costs/statistics to ensure company is meeting healthcare objectives
      Monitors vendor performance
      Develops communication and education programs on healthcare including the coordination of open enrolment on all benefit programs
      Conducting and participating in compensation analysis both internally and externally
      Design and implement compensation programs, policies and procedures in conjunction with Corp. headquarters
      Manage exempt employee performance management program
      Other Human Resources projects as assigned including employee training and employee relations.

 QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATION: 
       Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
       Minimum 5 years in both benefit administration/management and compensation administration
       Minimum 5 years experience in project management in areas of compensation and benefits
       Ability to multi-task in a face paced environment.
       Experience with Mercer Compensation is preferred
       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
       Must be proficient with MS Office Applications.

Salary $60K-$70K DOE
